Good Morning,
The other day i started my car and an 'F' appeared on the dash when i put my car into automatic, i took it out again and put it in automatic and it was fine, it hasn't done it since. What could this be?
It has been very juddery lately when pulling away from a stationary position, i am having it serviced tonight.

check the oil level and condition of oil in gearbox,if ok then get a diagnostic scan done to check if any fault codes in tcm,

As already advised on your previous posts on this gearbox , get it scanned .
