Vauxhall Corsa electronic climate control (ecc) cuts off

I have a 2008 corsa with a the plus pack to have Electronic Climate Control (ECC). For a while now, the ECC keeps cutting off. It doesnt matter if you are moving or not or if the engine is on or off. The heat appears to be coming out of the vents when driving fast but the fans dont come on, and when they do they will be on for a second.
I dont know if it is something to do with
the fuse, but the problem is getting worse.
Vauxhall wants £90 just to have a look at it so if it is something as silly as a fuse i would rather do that first.

Could check fuses yourself if you think it's that , though I doubt it . May have to bite the bullet and let them scan it for fault .
