2006 Vauxhall Corsa no power

Car: Vauxhall Corsa
Year: 2006
Variant: 1.9 turbo diesel
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Engine takes longer to start than normal, engine seems to run OK when out of gear but there is no power until the turbo kicks in.

No smoke from exhaust, but it may be blowing a bit. Cruises OK at level ground, but loss of power on hills and any time we want to accelerate.

have the engine control module checked as these are common on the corsa for running problems

sorry there has been a mix up somewhere, we put in Zafira but it came up corsa, would it be likely to be the same thing. I was wondering if it could be the heat rode or whatever you call them or loss of compression due to the exhaust. I am used to old petrol eng.s
