2003 Vauxhall Corsa engine cuts out

Car: Vauxhall Corsa
Year: 2003
Variant: 1.2 petrol
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Last week my Corsa started and immeadiately cut out. This happened 4 or 5 times one morning, each time after putting foot on accelarator there were no revs. Left it 5 mins then started first time. Yesterday it cut out twice whilst driving. Main lights and radio stayed on. Switched off engine turned back on and started first time.

A very, very common fault on Corsas of that year are engine timing chains / camshaft failures .Also with automatic gearbox ,got to be well tested / checked out .Any repairs needed on those parts alone will be very expensive .Tread carefully !!
