1998 Vauxhall Corsa problems when cold

Car: Vauxhall Corsa
Year: 1998
Variant: 1.2 16v Breeze
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
I have a 1998 Corsa 1.2 16v Breeze it has developed a problem when running from cold.

The car starts ok and sets off ok but then around 2000 revs looses all power and wont go anywhere untill the clutch is depressed and acelerator pedal is pushed almost to the floor and the clutch re-engaged. The car is fine once warmed up.

Can you help?
