Hi Guys,
Wondering if you can help - currently got a Y reg 2001 Corsa and having an issue where the car cuts out (when slowing or coming to a standstill) and the revometer dies but the car is able to restart fine (although recently it didn't). When the car restarts the revometer sits at zero but i'm able to drive around like normal and the engine won't cut out again after that. If i then leave the car for a short while the revometer will go back to working fine but once that happens the engine will again cut out after slowing/stopping.
During this the emissions warning light is on (it seems to be on constantly now) - and whenever i go on the motorway it shudders every now and then and starts to lose power at anything over 90mph.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There was a common fault with the multi plug on back of instrument panel coming loose .The solution was to remove the cluster, take out the multiplug and stick two small pieces of foam behind the plug to tighten the plug in its slot.Then cable tie the wiring to dashboard assembly to stop it vibrating/moving .

does this answer then sort out the cutting out of the vehicle when coming to a stop ??
i drive an 03 1.4 sri , and recently its cutting out, rev and speedometre keep cutting out, emmision light is always on before egnition is on, and the battery light is on constantly ! the engine repair light is also on alot of the time ... scared to take it into the garage and come out with £1000 bill like people are saying is the expected outcome ???

hi 2 things i would say to try is first water temp switch then the air flow meter turns the fuel up and down
