1995 Vauxhall Corsa screaching noise

the car is making a low screaching noise like metal is rubbing against metal. This is a continious noise and only stops when the car is turning a corner! Any ideas what this may be??

Could be brake pads , wheel bearings etc etc . best to get it checked ASAP.
