Fitting fuel pump

Does anyone know how to fit a new fuel pump in the vauxhall Corsa SRi 1.4

Not 100% sure on that car , but usually in fuel tank and access gained through plate on floor after lifting rear seat .If wrong , someone will come on with correct location .

Yeah beleive it is under the rear seat but not too sure how easy it is to replace with the new one .Thanks

you just need to remove the locking ring,can sometimes be a bit tight,might need a bit of persuasion with a hammer and screwdriver to tap the locking ring round.disconnect wiring plug and fuel pipe connectors and lift old pump out,when you fit the new one make sure you fit a new sealing ring as well and that the locking ring is nice and tight

Straight forward job , just be careful if retaining ring is tight you dont damage tank removing it .You should manage it o.k .

All seems ok and old pump removed but having trouble removing the filter from the old pump to put into the new one as it does'nt come with a filter.Any help please URGENT !!
