2002 Vauxhall Corsa brakes vibrating when breaking at 70mph+

Sounds like could be ABS fault .

sounds like your abs is working as it should,if you break hard and the abs kicks in you will feel the pedal pulseing as the brakes are prevented from locking up.if the abs light is on then check your fault codes as could be a dodgy wheel speed sensor,if all this seems ok then check your wheels are balanced,check for any damage to the rims,check all your brake calipers/discs are tight,check all ball joints and suspension components for play and that everything is tight,also get the disc run out checked to make sure they are not warped

hi, usually when the abs kicks in you can hear a banging or grating from the system, does your car do this,is the car fitted with disc at the rear if so this could cause pedal vibration if rear discs are warped,

The car does not have ABS, it has drums on the back, the run out of the discs is ok, 0.0015" it feels like it's comming from the front. The vibrating is very noticable on the break pedal, not soo much through the steering. The wheels have been re-balanced even though they were only 10g out. It is the same with a different wheel on the drivers side but I haven't changed the wheel on the passenger side, they are alloys, I don't know if they are better or worse than steel.
