1997 Vauxhall Corsa top mounts on shock absorbers

i had new top mounts on the rear of my car yesterday and it is making an awful knocking noise. The garage said it would knock for a day or two is this right, it doesnt seem right to me.

Get it back to garage ASAP and get them to fix it .
