2000 Vauxhall Corsa loss of acceleration when heated

Car: Vauxhall Corsa
Year: 2000
Variant: SRI 16V
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Once the car has been driven for about 10 minutes and starts to warm up, the symbol on the dashboard ( car with spanner through it ) comes on and the acceleration slows so that even with your foot pressed fully down the car slows right down.Loss of power and acceleration. Was advised that this was probably the carbon canister by AA but have since changed that and no change.Any help greatly appreciated

Get the car scanned and see what fault codes are shown otherwise you are just guessing and fitting parts that might not be needed.

But when the AA man scanned it he said there was no engine fault and apart from this the car runs fine.Have also changed the water pump and cam belt but no help !!

There's got to be an engine fault when warning light on . losing power etc. Could be MAF (Mass Air Flow) meter .

hi the best thing you could do is get a diagnostic test done there should be a fault code coming up on it that will lead you to the right direction
