2002 Vauxhall Corsa oil light and rattling noises

I have 2 problems with my 52' plate corsa 1.2
Firstly, the oil light flashes on and off a lot and has been for the past few months, I recently put it in for an oil service and got the filter replaced, old oil drained out and new oil put in. The light still comes on and it is really frustrating!
Also, when I'm trying to park my car or its in reverse or first gear it makes a rattling noise but it does not do this at any other time other than this. Any ideas?

Oil light flashing could be something simple like oil pressure switch faulty or something major causing low engine oil pressure , especially when getting engine rattle also .You have got to watch Corsas when you start to get this problem , can develop into timing chains / camshafts .
