Wont start

when you try to start the car the ignition makes a clicking noise . i have had it jump started which worked but then when I went to start it again today the same happened . There is also a light with a spanner on, dont know what it means.

The clicking noise will be the starter solenoid .You will have to get your battery tested and alternator output also .Any fast fit centre or good accessory shop will check foc , usually while you wait .The warning light is telling you there is a fault that needs checked .If you get it scanned it will show fault codes .Best to get battery and alternator checked first .
