1999 Vauxhall Corsa is there a common problem with ignition switchs

Is there a common problem with ignition switches on corsa and combos and what problems have you had how you resolve them

This is how someone else solved their problem with switch .


I have done this on a Corsa 1999 should be similair to your model, once u have removed steering column (screw on left and right behind steering wheel arms and three underneath), disconnect the wiring loom far left of barrell. there are two grub screws in the metal part of barrell. undo these and thats it. be warned the first grub screw is visible, however the second is on the opposing side and is blind to the naked eye. its a good idea to use a mirror to view it.
