1999 Vauxhall Corsa loss of power/no power

Car: Vauxhall Corsa
Year: 1999
Variant: 1.0
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Hi all,

My car has been doing this for a while now. When starting up it takes a few minutes for it to warm up and for me to be able to accelerate away, if i try to go i get no response from the engine even with my foot to the floor. It sometimes happens when driving too, there'll usually be a rattle from the exhaust then i'll lose power and possibly have to change gear to keep it moving. Now i've just had my car in for a service and told them to put it on the diagnostics and nothing came up on same although, there is clearly something wrong.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

Cheers, will take it in tomorrow lunch. There anything else it could be? Poss Mass Airflow meter? I thought it was the EGR but nothing came up the diagnostics.
