2002 Vauxhall Corsa electrics maybe??

i was driving home and my dials reset to zero as u can imagine i was panicking thn once i got home i turned the engine over and it wont start!!!can any1 help me please?

immobiliser problem sounds like not really come across this before but have a vauxhall dealer have a look over it if you can get the car to the dealers

I have a 52' plate corsa and the exact same thing happened to me on a busy motorway and the car wouldn't start again, had to call the AA out but by the time they got there it started again!

Its faulty electrics, book it into an electric garage. Apparently its a common fault on vauxhalls part. The guy said he could replace the whole dashboard etc but would cost a lot or he could put like polystyrene in to block it (which was a stab in the dark) but I opted for that and its never happened since!
