2008 Vauxhall Corsa engine mounting sheared

Car: Vauxhall Corsa
Year: 2008
Variant: 1.3 Diesel
Categories: Gearbox & Clutch
2 days ago the nearside engine mounting sheared on my corsa diesel taking out the drive shaft when the engine dropped. Vauxhall will not fix this under warranty as they say it was due to "harsh gear changing". They want 900 to fix it ! Car is just over a year old with 54k so is within warranty guidelines. Any help or advice would be appreciated.
