2003 Vauxhall Corsa ticking nois in the engine when im driving

firstly check oill level as if low will be tappets making the noise the other thing it can be is the timing chain which is very common on the corsa if it is the chain will be a expensive job to have done unless you have warranty on the car hope this helps

is the ticking only when you drive if so check front tyres for stone or nail.

hi my sisters 2003 corsa has had the same problem for the past 1-2 year, i said it was tappets. its just had its mot last week and failed on loose headlight and exhaust. they fixed light and changed the full exhaust" the ticking/tapping noise has now went. wonder if your is same
