Hi,
Please help problem driving me nuts.
Last month the engine warning light has been coming on for a few seconds at a time then going off.I have had problems starting the car and sometimes when the car starts it revs itself up to 4 without a foot on the pedal.
I have given the car a full service and had the exhaust changed but still have the smae problem.
Today the car broke down rac mnan came out and said he could not sort out problem how ever he got the car going.Engine warning light stayed on for about 20 minutes then went off.Again car was over reving and in the lower gears was doing this while driving.Has any one any ideas?

Get it scanned and see what codes show .
