1996 Vauxhall Corsa fuel guage not working

when i put petrol in, the the fuel guage does not move and stays on empty. what is the problem??any ideas?

Probably fuel tank unit , could double check wiring at unit.

it sounds like the "fuel gauge sender unit is broke" best to send it to sum1 who knows about cars i.e garage etc etc,, i hope that helps. from ryan
