2008 Vauxhall Corsa electric fault?

Hi there
I am new to this site and hop someone out there can help.
My 08 Vauxall Corsa has started to act strange, just last weekend I was driving home at night and noticed mt computer display on the dash had rest the time and day. I thought it would be a battery fault,(at night using all the lights, etc) so I reset the date and time, a week has past without any issue.
Then today, I switched on the blower to clear the front window, but when I turned it on, it didnt work on any of the speed setting. Earlier in the morning it did work. Anyway after a few attemps, I turned it back to the off position, then suddenly , the blower started working again. Both issues are strange...
Can anyone help??

Being an 08 plate , is the car not still under warranty ? if so get it into dealers for checking .If not , you would be better getting a diagnostic check carried out and see what it shows.
