check in handbook if flashing light is the imobilisor light car wont start,try other key if only 1 key get codes read at garage if imobilisor code will have to go to vauxhall to code keys.
golden rule no 1 ;if eng man lamp on or imob lamp on or flashing fault will be registered in ecm read codes cuts out a lot of diagnosis time
