2002 Vauxhall Corsa new tyres

does it matter what tyres i use iv been quoted 170 for a set of 4 new tyres from mr tyre(coventry) which sounds really reasonable but now my mate has told me if u go for the budget brand they will wear out a lot quicker?

You get what you pay for, as its a diesel corsa alot of torque through front wheels, very cheap tyres do wear out quicker but middle of the range ones should be okay. would also advise getting tracking checked as well as nothing more annoying then new tyres wearing prematurly due to mis-aligned tracking

i got 2 new pirrelli tyres recently from brindley vauxhall in cannock staffordshire for £110 fitted and balanced these are the same as original tyres which lasted 3yrs and 30,000 miles try ringing around though everyone will undercut each other if u tell them porkys on what the last garage priced u

i got 4 firestone firehawk 700's fitted,balanced n tracked for only 100 it feels like a new car going over roundabouts n braking
