2001 Vauxhall Corsa cut out & emissions light

Car: Vauxhall Corsa
Year: 2001
Variant: 1.0 Club
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Hi everyone, wondering if you can help. I was driving my Corsa today when the engine electronics/transmission electronics light came on. After about 2 mins it went off so thought nothing of it and carried on driving. Car was ok until about 2 miles down the road my car suddenly cut out. I pulled over and turned the engine off, left it for a minute and then turned it back on again. Car started 1st time but exhasut emission light was on and rev counter not working..drove home. Later in the day I thought I would just see if the light was stil on. Car started fine, rev counter now working ok but emission light still on. Not driven car since.
Any ideas?
Thanks

have ecu codes read this will point you straight to problem

you will have to get the fault codes read as to why the light is on but at a guess i would say crank position sensor may be faulty

Sorted it. It was the crank position sensor. Thanks for advice.
