2001 Vauxhall Corsa speedometer fluctuating

WHILST DRIVING ALONG THE SPEEDOMETER IS FLUCTUATING FROM THE SPEED THAT YOU DOING SOMETIMES DROPS 10MPH AND SOMETIMES STRAIGHT TO ZERO WHILST STILL DOING 40MPH THEN GOING BACK TO THE SPEED THAT YOU WAS DOING THEN DROPPING AGAIN

it can only be one of the following.

1. the sender unit needs cleaning or replacement.

2. the wiring connections need cleaning.

3. the clock inself needs replacment.

sounds more like wiring to me, so you need an auto electrician. sorry cant help you more.
