2019 Vauxhall Corsa serious clutch judder when reversing up a slope

Drives fine going forward but when reversing very small judder on flat surface, but when reversing up a slope the judder is very pronounced and the smell inside the car is awful?

With a clutch judder you should usually get it in all gears , not just reverse . But from what you say about the smell it may be coming from the clutch slipping / burning . Only other thing is , I have heard of this problem quite often also on the Astras but never heard how it was resolved .

Hi, we have this problem on a Corsa 2016 eco 1.4, can you tell me how you've got on please and if you've managed to rectify the problem?

Hi,
The problem is the clutch gear fork. It is a known fault to Vauxhall on special coverage 16-e-3289. The Vauxhall garage replaced the faulty parts, FREE of charge? All is now OK!
