Started, Won't start, started..then engine management light and due for a service lights... ideas??

hi, yesterday my car started fine in the morning, then on my lunch i went to start it and it made a churn noise and it wouldnt start, i got greenflag out and he said it was my starter motor. I bumped it off and got it home ok and had to move it twice whilst at home, 1st time i moved it it started fine, second time just made a churn noise but didnt start, i tried it again and it started ok but had the due for a service light on.... This morning it started first time with no due for a service light but a engine management light... its starting ok now but am unsure if i need to get anything fixed or if it playing about? Any ideas would be great !! cheers !!
