2005 Vauxhall Corsa noisy steering

Car: Vauxhall Corsa
Year: 2005
Variant: design 1.3 cdti
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
My steering is noisy when turning both left and right when either coming to a stop or setting off. The noise is like a groan. It doesn't make this noise whilst driving at normal speed. Is it safe to continue driving or should I get it seen to straight away? I had a new steering rack fit approx 2 years ago.
