Will not Rev
2004 Vauxhall Corsa

Sorry but I am an amateur. My corsa will not fully rev, the engine warning light has appeared. Even when the accelerator is fully down it struggles to get above 3,000 rev's so trying to go uphill is almost impossible. What is wrong any suggestions will be appreciated.

Replies and fixes

hi, i dont know much technical terms but i had this problem with my last car,and had to get a new coil pack and fuel injector. could be the same thing.
Did you take it to a dealer/garage or yourself how much am i looking at for the cost?
i took it to my local garage he took £124 for the job and parts. he said it was one of the pistons that wasnt firing. but it worked brilliant after that.
