Altenator not charging fitted replcement fitted new battery any ideas

what voltage do you get at battery when it is running? does the battery warning light come on with ignition and go out when started as it it an important part of the charging circuit and are you sure nothing else on hte car is flattening the battery whrn parked ie boot light

running the battery right down can damage the cells even if the battery is new charge it and have it drop tested just to make sure all is ok with the battery then have the alternator tested when running should be reading around 14.4 volts when running if not then you have a faulty alternator
