Wont start in cold weather

car start great until cold weather spell now just wont start at all if I leave the car until maybe 10 o clock when the weather warmed up its fine first turn of the key so the problem I got is why wont it start in cold weather

Dont know what engine in car but could try replacing engine coolant temp sensor
