Keeps cutting out

when i drive my car it keeps trying to cut out and when it gets to about 60mph the engine light comes on and it slows right down

You really need to have your car put on a diagnostic test to verify the problem - I had a corsa that kept cutting out and it turned out to be ths camshaft sensor but I also heard of a similar symptoms that were caused by a faulty flow meter.The diagnostic check should pinpoint the problem.Good Luck

GET IT ON THE COMPUTER AT A GOOD GARAGE, READ ITS CODES AND DATA. AND GET THEM TO DISABLE THE EGR VALVE.

crank sensor!!!!

if u have a faulty crank sensor the car will cut out especially when you stop the car e.g at a junction. the car could start fine and run for about half an hour stationary without no problem, but drive it half a mile and it will stop, i had this problem.
