Top of engine is running dry no oil getting to it

Probably carbon build up in the internal galleries.
Personally I'd remove the head and clean flush it.
But you could try engine flush oil or something like Wynns engine flush.
Though I'd think it would need more than one treatment.

Faulty oil pumps are common on that car as is certain engine oil filters giving problems with oil circulation .
