2004 Vauxhall Corsa back wheen goes in at a angle touching the back strut

hi had a friens tell me what my back wheel looks off at back left hand passenger side the wheel goes at a andle kinda rubs of the strut if I hit any small bumps its a inch off the strut the axel looks ok but don't know if that's the problem or is it something to do with the hub ive stoped driving it now just wonderd if it could be something else other than the axel ive not hit anything hard the odd pot hole be good for some advice thanks :)

Not much in the back of these so I'd guess distorted suspension,
I very much doubt the stub axle is bent but I have seen this,
and a bearing fault is unlikely as I'd think the noise would be very obvious.
So I'd say get it to a garage and up in the air.

Try changing with another wheel before you get too involved .

hi it was a hole in the axel just rusted needs new axel just rusted under the strut bit thanks anyway
