Vauxhall Corsa juddering/engine malfunction light

Driving today, I had an issue where the engine started to judder and lost a little power. It lasted maybe 30 seconds and during this, the malfunction light flashed. It's happened once more since and I'm fairly sure I can feel what send to be the occasional "cough" when the engine is idling. Any suggestions would be welcome

Unless you get it scanned, only guessing .Common cause can be plugs and coil pack causing intermittent misfire .
