started having starting problems when fuel filter was replaced.car wont start on first attempt.some time it starts straight away.help please

diesel and the steering hardens sometimes.2008 model.

With the additional info with the steering , get your battery load tested and alternator output / charging rate tested .Any of the fast fit centres or likes of Halfords will check usually F.O.C
