Can anyone tell me if their are more than one type of oil pump for acorsa 1000ecotech as I have got a new one and it is just a mail and female toothed cog were as the shattered one I removed had like steel fin keys

Sounds like you have a repair kit , like this . Check at bottom of link and it tells you two different pumps .
