2005 Vauxhall Corsa interior light stays on all the time

problem just started happening , my interior light stays on . i lock car using fob the light should then dim but the bugger just wont go out

im not 100% but to get the light to go out you would have to go to the dealers to havethe body control module reprogrammed / updated
