Oil light comes on even though i have oil?
2000 Vauxhall Corsa

Every time that im driving on the motorway my oil light comes on and the car seems to pull back but when I pull over it goes off again. The oil is not low because I always check it before long journeys. It dosent happen when im driving on normal roads it just when on driving on motorways! Anyone have any suggestion as to what the problem might be?

the only thing that i can suggest is to replace the oil pressure switch and see how things go from there as it may be a bit of dirt in the sensor or the oil is thinning out on the motorway journeys ie loosing its viscosity and i would suggest a oil change and filter
