Engine Management Light flashing and staying on

Car is stuttering whilst being driven. Car is also jumpy when idle at traffic lights, why is it doing this?

Hi you need to get a diagnostic check. It's sounds like a miss fire.

I would add that a flashing EML is a warning that there is a possible catalytic converter killing fault.
MUCH more expense.
Get it scanned NOW.

Common fault on that car is the coil pack breaking down causing misfire , but also check plugs at same time .As stated above , doesn't help the cat if continuing driving with fault .
