thanks whittingehame...checked my coolant,it was top level but noticed what i can only describe as sponge like bits floating in it.!! removed the sponge like bits...before trying anything else you recommended( as i would need help to even locate throttle body..)..all week my corsa has run ok and not cut out.. but what are the sponge like bits in coolant ?? check coolant/ oil every 10 days or so and never noticed these before..

Never came across that in a coolant bottle before .Maybe someone tried to clean it out at one time ? really haven't a clue .What I would do is keep checking and see if any returns .If so must be through cooling system and would need flushing out .

thank you whittingeham..your advice is appreciated.! will keep checking coolant for contamination, if it comes back and engine cuts out again then will have it flushed....reguards mjp.
