My heater started making a clicking noise the other day now it's getting louder and there doesn't seem to be a lot of power. Plus after a while it goes off completely until I restart the engine. It still gets hot any ideas as its a pain in the morning trying to de mist windscreen

Sounds like either something hitting heater fan or heater motor knackered .
