If you look in the previous post you will see the answer of how to solve this problem, the gasket around the plate behind the gasket has gone and I just put roof sealant around it does the job and not expensive either

Hi know this is an old post but will answer it for other people with the same proble who drive a corsa c combo van or tigra. The most common problem on water entering the drivers side is nominally caused because of breaks in the sealer on the brake servo plate. The best way to repair this is to remove the servo to allow you to get proper access to the plate so the sealer can be removed and the plate can be cleaned. I use a primer and a polyurethane sealer to repair the ones I do. The servo it's self has a gasket we do always do away this gasket and use a soft sealer that never drys so should you need to remove the servo again it can be removed easily. We have also found water entering via the bonnet release cable geometry on the servo plate. Other places to check is water entering the sills on the car via the door seals best way to fix this is to remove one of the grommets in the sill. If you have side skirts the grommets are locate behind the skirts. For more information on other places to check you can lookup betta windscreens on google or visit www.bettawindscreens.co.uk they offer a repair service for this problem in the U.K.
