Heater not working

2005 Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 se
Car: Vauxhall Corsa
Year: 2005
Variant: 1.2 se
Categories: Leaks & Noises
The heater virtually stopped working suddenly. It produces a very small output of heat into the car. The heater fan is working 100 and produces a very good blast of air on full speed - but almost no heat. The engine thermostat has been changed. Engine coolant temperatures and levels are ok. I have been advised that the heater matrix may be blocked. Any advice on checking and clearing it would be welcome.

Before you replace heater valve , check flow in and out through valve to verify faulty .If not you could try flushing heater matrix .
