Test/ check the battery you fitted .Not the first time a replaced battery was dud .Check battery connections and earth cable from engine / gearbox to body .If still having problems , check all connections at starter .If still not o.k , could be faulty starter .

If you have had the car stood about with out a good charge every now and again this could drain the battery, If the car still is not starting with the new battery fitted then this could be the starter motor or even a faulty connection on the wiring, with the battery disconnected (of course) disconnect and clean the contacts and apply little grease once reconnected as this should aid the electrical connection.
