bought the car two weeks ago was fine now got a ticking noise had an oil and filter change was ok for a day now its back after about ten minutes seems to go but worried it will come back any ideas

Could be hydraulic tappet sticking , hard to say for definite without hearing .You can get hydraulic tappet cleaner additive that sometimes works .You can also get timing chain noise but more of a rattle .
