1997 Vauxhall Corsa passenger rear indicator not working

Hi i have a problem with the rear indicator on passenger side.it comes on and then goes off, everytime the block fits into the light, i have replaced the light block and changed the bulb, but still no joy. any help would be grateful thank you.

you need to check the bulb holder for damage/corrosion and make sure connector block to light is makeing a good connection and the earth connection is ok have you got correct bulb some have ofset pins later models had a problem with flasher unit ie bulbs flashing fast on one side

thanks for the help. yes i have changed the bulb holder, all other lights in the bulb holder working fine its just the indicator thats not working.

you will have to remove plug to light unit and using a test lamp and assistant earth test lamp to body and see if there is feed to indicator terminal have done a few cars and connector plug has been the problem but sourced one from breakers yard cut off and soldered replacement on just a point does it work with hazard lights on if it does it could be stalk that is problem
