Washers won't work

2002 Vauxhall Corsa
Car: Vauxhall Corsa
Year: 2002
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
Neither the front nor rear washers work on my Corsa - they do work only when bypassing the pump and taking a lead direct from the battery to the unit. (The wipers work fine). I have cleaned the pipes, changed the pump, checked the fuses, changed the switch on the driver wheel - still not working. Seems to be an electrical thing?? Have heard there may be a relay thing that needs changing somewhere but don't know where to find it. Any other advice or info is really welcome. Help please.

there is no relay that i know of have you replaced all items with new items and not second hand as if you have replaced with new parts then there is no reason for them not to work

Thank you for replying. Yes, I did replace with new parts, luckily the garage have taken them back! Will keep trying.

Thank you for your help. I had already checked the fuse box and of course the fuses don't correspond with the picture in the manual! Also checked the fuses and they all seemed fine. Anyway, I have replaced and tried each one of the fuses - and lo and behold, they now work!
Thank you again.
