2000 Vauxhall Corsa hesitation, surge, idling slow

Hi
My corsa when hot or cold hesitates when accelerating, the idle speed is also slow.
Have replaced MAF sensor and this cured another problem, but the idling speed got worse.
The hesitation problem was not present before changing MAF sensor.
No engine managament light on (only for 1 to 2 seconds after starting).

Sorted it.
Replaced vauxall clip with jubliee clip (it was loose) an MAF sensor, then cleand carb with petrol and toothbrush, idle speed then sorted.
