2005 Vauxhall Corsa fuel filter location,draining,fitting

Where is the fuel filter located on the 55 corsa dcti,i am unsure as to weather its under the bonnet,very prominent with black casing as it looks more like a pump to me and how easy are they to fit? can they be drained? Thanks for any help

What you are looking at with the black casing is the fuel filter. You will find a torx headed screw in the centre on top, remove this and pull the top off. The filter is then inside. You should also find a drain screw underneath in the middle. The filters are quite easy to remove and replace, but when refitting, make sure you take care with the new seals as these are easily damaged. Hope this helps...
